I am in my thirties, which shocks a lot of people, especially when you see photos of me.  I look young for my age and act a little young-ish for it, as well.  Not in an immature way, but kind of in a “kid at heart” way.   If society wasn’t a slave to the calendar, I’d put my age around 24 or 25 and I’m okay with that. 

Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis is a personal hero of mine.  There will constantly be photos of her or quotes directly from her on my blog, for a variety of reasons.  I tend to label them based on what her name was at the time of the photograph or quote.  My favourite Jackie Kennedy quote is, without a doubt:

“There are two kinds of women: those who want power in the world and those who want power in bed.”

I mention this quote, because if you hang around here long enough, you’ll understand which woman I am…

For a few hours on Saturday, generally beginning around 8 p.m. central time, I will post provocative photos.   I may choose to post photos late in the evening hours during the week, but limit most of my postings to my “Sensual Saturday Nights”.  I mention this so you know in advance that there may be images that contain tasteful nudity or sexual acts.    It is not my intention to shock you or offend you, so if you will be offended by these photos, please do not follow me.

Knowing I am a Jackie Kennedy fan, you can probably deduce I’m a Democrat.  The “liberal” part was probably also a big clue.  I post blogs on current events and politics and sometimes comment on items politically.  I appreciate intelligent discourse, and I respond best to respectful disagreements.  I am fairly liberal, according to society’s standards, but my fiscal preferences tend to be more middle of the road.  In short, I believe in social programs, but want budgets to be capable of funding said projects before they’re put in place.  Essentially, I’m all about common sense.  I believe business should be regulated, but not heavily.  I’m a big believer in balance and middle-grounds.  I am a Democrat, but I don’t believe all Democrats are holy and all Republicans are evil.  (Republicans on the national level are getting dangerously close to me revising that opinion, though.)

Music is my blood and it is most definitely the food of my love.  I try to post a song of the day, so music will also be heavily featured here.   I try to listen to everything without prior judgment influencing my opinion, and I always appreciate suggestions or recommendations.   

I like dragonflies because they remind me of fishing with my father when I was younger.  I think they’re beautiful.  And they kill mosquitoes. 

I have a wonderfully handsome, creative, and awesome boyfriend that I am totally in love with.  Our relationship is complicated and I haven’t and don’t traditionally speak openly about.  That may change, however, in respect for the fact that this is my blog and these are my feelings, I will keep his identity and many specific details omitted.   I am also falling back in love with him after a long difficult period.  I may be sentimental at times.  I’m learning that you have to practice flirting your entire relationship.  You have to work at “fun”, in order to avoid relationships getting stale or you taking your significant other for granted.  My blog may, from time to time, reflect that.  

I appreciate followers and I appreciate getting to know new people, but I don’t engage in follow me and I’ll follow you back politics, for one reason: I usually end up following people that don’t post interesting things or things I’m interested in.  In the end, I want conversation, a back and forth.  I want to comment on and be commented on… I’d forsake a huge following for that.
