Krugman’s obviously one of the smartest economic reporters out there, but I also read some of the conservative columnists, just to get a sense of where those arguments are going. There are a handful of blogs, Andrew Sullivan’s on the Daily Beast being an example, that combine thoughtful analysis with a sampling of lots of essays that are out there. The New Yorker and The Atlantic still do terrific work. Every once in a while, I sneak in a novel or a nonfiction book.”

She’d have to “read” anything more than just “what has been put in front of her over the years” to actually find this answer or discover that it exists. I do not believe she’s capable of that. This is too hard for her, as she now works for Fox News and they will, inevitably, skim this and spin it down to: Obama reads BLOGS! OMG, the leader of the free world is so SOCIALIST that he can’t be content with the already liberally obsessed media and is now out there, seeking forms of communication that are leftist and fringe to ruin freedom!
