True Colors (Acoustic) | Cyndi Lauper
One of the things Pandora introduced me to tonight, was this acoustic album that Cyndi put out a few years ago. In the debate between Madonna and Cyndi, I’ve always held the probably unpopular idea that Cyndi was just so much more talented than Madonna - so much more a true artist, rather than a skillful marketing maven.
This is one of my favourite songs, ever… but I truly heard it in a different light tonight… It used to be something to send to friends… Tonight, its meaning deepened… Very few artists today have the courage to really explore their hits and make them into something different… There’s this idea that it’s “done” and it needs to be put away… and, this song proves… that’s not always the case. I guess it’s all in the fruit of the material, though.
Anyhow, good night, world… xxoxx

Rush Limbaugh spends nearly 30 minutes responding to controversy over his comments made toward activist Sandra Fluke, calling out the Obama administration and his former advertisers in the process. [KFBK]
I listened to this ridiculous bile in its entirety. I deserve a medal. Even though my head nearly exploded when he brought up Sarah Palin, and talks about how other people bully HIM. He’s still blaming Obama and the Democrats for his actions. He is not taking responsibility for his actions, STILL! Just for using “inappropriate words”. So, he still has NO idea what the hell he did.
Ugh, this man..
But, what I particularly love is how he used the music from Cyndi Lauper’s “She Bop” after his commercial break. So, does that mean that as a woman, if I masturbate, I’m not a slut? Well, that’s a novel thought.
So, masturbating = totally acceptable, using birth control to regulate hormones = slut. Good to know.
That’s GOP logic for you. *smh*
