Preview of Adele’s theme for Skyfall
Can’t wait… for the full song or for the movie… taking my Dad to see this for his birthday - at his request… A bit unusual - I think the movie comes out only a few days before… and my Dad almost never goes to a movie on opening weekend… but, I still so excite and so is he, because the words out of his mouth were: “We HAVE to go see that on my birthday!!!”
I may be rested up from the campaign by then - and willing to actually be presentable to the outside world.

James Stewart in ‘Rear Window’, 1954.

I have spent way too much time looking for a better shot of it, but one of the best things about Spiderman, from a personal perspective?
Sally Field wears a United Bridge Workers t-shirt, not once… but twice and the first time it’s seen is in this scene. The Bridge Workers and the Iron Workers all fall under the same International organization, and being that I’m a political coordinator for the local Iron Workers here in Houston, my first and only reaction was: I’m proud of you, Norma Rae!! :o)
Also - she’s my Dad’s celebrity crush.

James Stewart and Grace Kelly in ’Rear Window’, 1954.
One of my favourite movies ever… what Hitchcock did with the sound in this movie is absolutely amazing…

We had a bit of fun imagining an alternate version of The Hunger Games starring musicians such as Mick Jagger, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber and Miranda Lambert. What do you think of our picks?
I am not going to lie… I think Nicki Minaj as Ellie Trinket would have been a brilliant casting choice.

Now there’s a disturbing thought, but uhmmm… no, because if you’re excited for the Hunger Games, it means you’re excited for the downfall of the Capitol…
